If you’re a fitness instructor in any capacity, you probably feel some pressure these days to show on Instagram. Whether that’s to promote your in-person classes, create a captive audience to sell affiliate products to, or you-don’t-even-know-why-the-heck-but-you-feel-like-you’re-supposed-to, the social media pressure can be intense!

And I’m not here to say it’s NOT important. After all, I make money directly from YouTube and indirectly here on Instagram by pointing folks to my coaching services, workshops, and retreats.

The right social media community can help put dollars in your pocket and elevate your reputation and opportunities within the fitness industry.

BUT…it can also make you crazy. (Compulsive social media usage is now classified as an addiction by many mental health standards.)

Finding that happy medium doesn’t happen by accident! Here are my strategies for avoiding social media burnout.

She is married to the love of her life–Jeff Comer, a hospital CEO with doctoral studies in stress management and a certification in yoga! (They met in a yoga class he was teaching.) They have two chihuahuas, one horse, and are adopting a baby from China.
