This Yoga for After Barre flow will help your muscles unwind from the muscular endurance they experience during a barre class.
(Don’t you just love when people who have never taken barre assume it’s all gentle stretching? Yikes, just because it’s pretty doesn’t mean barre feels anything like a gentla yoga class!)
For those of you who have taken barre before, you know that the post barre recovery process can be pretty intense, which is why I designed this sequence as yoga for after barre class.
Although this post workout recovery yoga flow can be done on its own or after any intense lower body workout, it specifically lengthens muscles frequently used in barre class, like the glutes and piriformis, quads, hamstrings, inner thighs, and waist.
Try it as a follow-up to an intense cardio barre class like the one below, or use it on your rest day to heal up for more barre!
